I’m a Designer and Coordinator focused on strong user design methodology and storytelling to promote a baseline of sustainable and ethical design practice by

  • forming engaged and co-oped ways to build and inspire from others

  • challenging the boundaries of a problem scope through a user experience lens in order to build understanding

  • initiating flexible design processes which explores multiple avenues that can provide unique solutions to unique problems.

CareerGo

CareerGo is a virtual career fair high fidelity prototype designed in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. My team and I constructed a virtual forum to connect fellow students with potential employers and recruiters. Instead of having to miss out on the opportunities that in-person career fairs have been providing, both career recruiters and students can bridge the gap with this online platform.

 
 
 

License to Freedom

License to Freedom is a non-profit dedicated in helping immigrant/refugee women and/or men from escaping domestic violence and sexual assault located in El Cajon, CA. I have been involved with LTF since 2018, but recently, I began to redesign their website in order to generate more traffic, make it more user friendly and launch an online campaign to help increase donations.

 
 
 

The OVCC

The Oakland Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce is an organization dedicated to helping business owners in the Oakland area since 1991. Given the recent struggles of businesses getting the proper support they needed during the start if the 2020 pandemic, the OVCC stepped in to explore different options that can alleviate social, political and economic issues businesses were facing. I was involved in 2 projects for this OVCC: their Community Engagement project and Re-connect IRL project.

 
 
 

Viasat

Viasat is a San Diego-founded global communication company who seek to power high-quality, secure, affordable connections to their customers. I teamed with another designer to help Viasat make a shift towards becoming a more design-driven company by creating an interactive, digital experience that helped communicate various design definitions, principles and processes to non-designers at Viasat.
